Thanks so much for stopping by! If we were sitting and talking in my kitchen, we would definitely be swapping stories. If you asked me the continual themes in my life they would be about faith…and trust..and contentment.. and in those lessons, growing in wisdom and strength. I love hearing others’ stories and find inspiration and strength in that. Here is my place to share mine.

I’m a woman hopelessly in love with my husband. But I know the pain, heartache and work of making a healthy, committed marriage.

I’m a mama to five beautiful children. But I very frequently feel like I’m in over my head with them all.

I’m a loyal friend who is passionate about people. But with that kind of love sometimes comes hurt.

I am a child of the South, through and through. I ran barefoot outside, played “Little House” at my grandparents’ farm, and ate lots of fried chicken. I now live in the beautiful lower Hudson Valley of New York with my husband and five children. I am a quiet thinker who loves babies, mountains, the ocean, thrifting, honest conversations, creating beautiful spaces, warm welcomes, reading, my family, and connecting with others.

Living in truth?

I am continually seeking truth. The truth of God's word, truth in my own life, truth with others. Someone once said I'm an "honest woman" and I think that's about right.  It takes a lot of courage to live in truth. I want to help you find the courage to live the truth that God has given you. I would love to help you uncover what your truth is under the banner of God's love.

Searching for beauty? 

The Lord gives us beauty to feast on every day. It's just a little taste of what heaven will be like. Living in a broken world, we have to train our eyes to see the beauty He has provided. This has always been a challenge for me, and it continues to be. Let's walk this path together, seeing how we can creatively search for beauty and meaning this side of heaven.
